Mimaki JV33 2.6m - addition of 2.6m model to successful JV33 range

Mimaki JV33 2.6 metre
One year after the successful introduction of the Mimaki JV33 range of wide format solvent inkjet printers, the award winning machines now have a bigger brother in the form of a 2.6m wide model. Taking the highly acclaimed JV33 into the super-wide arena, the 103" Mimaki JV33-260S is equipped with Mimaki's Automatic Media Feeder (AMF) for rolls up to 100kg (220lbs) as a standard feature along with the option to add Mimaki's bulk ink supply system (MBIS).

Super-wide printers require secure media handling; especially for heavy rolls and substrates. The new AMF comes as standard on the JV33-260, thus ensuring exact media tension control over the whole printing width of 2.6m for superb print quality even when using roll-based substrates of up to 100kg. In addition to this the JV33-260 incorporates Mimaki's Print Assist function for double-sided print enabling edgeless output while printing on both sides of the media. This can be for either unlit transparent substrates viewed in daylight conditions or vivid backlit signs at night.

The 2.6m model shares the UISS technology found on all Mimaki's current range of solvent printers; the automatic switching of ink cartridges to allow long run, unattended (and overnight) printing, but operating costs can be significantly reduced by employing an optional feature of the machine, Mimaki's new bulk ink system (MBIS). Delivering their SS21 full solvent ink from a bank of 2 litre ink sacks, the MBIS makes a positive impact on ink costs, ensuring that the output is not only of an exceptionally high quality but with good profit margins too!

"Mimaki's addition of the new 260 to the very successful JV33 range really broadens the horizons for what our customers can do with these machines," says John de la Roche; National Sales Manager for Mimaki's UK & Ireland distributor, Hybrid Services Ltd. "The print quality, combined with the speed of output and of course its width, opens up so many new opportunities for our customers to add revenue to their businesses. In these times, a competitively priced solution that produces high quality and cost effective output is worth its weight in gold!"

De la Roche goes on to add; "Once again, Mimaki has underlined its commitment by bringing innovative and top of its class technology to market."

Producing vibrant, durable, outdoor print onto a vast range of substrates at speeds of over 18m2 per hour (at 540x720dpi); the JV33-260 sits at the head of the range that also features a 1.6m and 1.3m model. The JV33 utilises the latest USB2 data transfer technology for lightning fast connection to the PC - an important consideration when working with the typically huge files encountered in the production of super-wide graphics. The new, big machine shares the other two's ability to output at up to 1,440dpi using a variable dot, and with images produced in stunning, photographic 16bit rendering to eliminate tone jump and gradation banding, the JV33-260 shows that there's no need for super-wide format to be delivered at anything but the best available quality.

Shipping with Hybrid's distinctive two year warranty; peace of mind and protection of your investment is ensured, and with Mimaki's powerful proprietary RasterLink Pro 4SG RIP solution bundled free of charge with the printer, it benefits from an extremely attractive list price of £39,995 + VAT.

The Mimaki JV33-260 is available in both solvent and water-based versions through Hybrid's specialist network of authorised resellers.
