Spandex launches ImagePerfect StreetApp

People running over the StreetApp film on the roadSpandex, who supply many products to the sign, architectural and display industries, has expanded its family of ImagePerfect materials with the launch of a new self-adhesive outdoor media product, IP2555 StreetApp.

ImagePerfect StreetApp is a white, textured, scuff-resistant print medium with a non-slip surface. It has been designed for digital printing on large format inkjet printers using eco solvent and solvent, as well as UV-curable and latex inks.

ImagePerfect StreetApp has been developed for 'challenging' external surfaces such as asphalt, tarmac, pavements and concrete. Thanks to the product’s adhesive technology, it is also suitable for application on carpet and wooden flooring, according to the company. ImagePerfect StreetApp offers a 'high level' of resistance to scratches and cracking and an inherent non-slip surface, without the need for additional lamination.

This latest addition to the ImagePerfect digital media range allows for high levels of print quality with a large colour gamut, delivering 'colourful images perfect for outdoor applications such as promotional graphics in sports arenas, race tracks and car parks'.

Spandex’s Category Manager, Steve Jacques said: “Our commitment is to provide customers with the widest range of products to create vibrant and captivating digitally printed work on virtually any exterior or interior surface.

“ImagePerfect StreetApp is the latest addition to our digital range, which now comprises over 160 products. StreetApp is a great addition to the portfolio and opens the door to a host of new visual communication opportunities. We’re seeing more and more Spandex customers producing outdoor branding for sports, hospitality and leisure events and looking to create maximum impact with floor graphics. With StreetApp, we can now give them a substrate they can rely on to create stand-out pieces of work for this type of event, produced to withstand the hard wear and tear typical of these demanding graphic installations.”
