William Smith expands print wrap film range
William Smith, who supply products to the sign and graphics industry, has added four print wrap films to its ever-growing range.
The Barnard Castle-based company, which is part of William Smith Group 1832, will stock 3M™’s extended range of IJ180mC Print Wrap Films; and Avery Dennison’s PVC-free wrap film series MPI 1405 EA RS.
New additions to the IJ180mC Print Wrap Film range include low-surface energy (SE), ultra-removable (UR) and stainless steel (SLS) options that are set to provide graphic manufacturers and installers with high-performance products, customised for unique applications.
The IJ180mC-10SLS film has the muscle to adhere to stainless steel vehicles, including: tankers, refrigerated trucks and food trucks; with the IJ180mC-10UR film suited to bus wraps, trailers and box trucks; and the IJ180mC-10LSE films ideal for caravans, ATV’s and motocross bikes.
These three new additions to the IJ180mC range are backed by the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty and 3M™ Performance Guarantee. They feature the benefits of Comply™ Adhesive with micro technology, which allows users to remove trapped air easily without leaving visible air channels.
Following the latest trends of end-user demand for non-PVC films, Avery Dennison has launched its MPI 1405 EA RS film, which provides a sustainable solution suitable for both vehicle wrapping and outdoor architecture applications on cement, brick and concrete surfaces.
The PVC-free film, which has excellent 3D conformability, can be quickly and easily installed over complex curves and deep recesses, thanks to Easy Apply RS technology. This eliminates wrinkles and bubbles and provides a high gloss finish.
