Brunel Engraving, a specialist engraving businesses in the UK, has introduced a collection of Corian® plaques to its existing product portfolio.
Made from a mixture of acrylic resin and natural minerals, the collection of quartz, slate, granite and marble effect Corian® plaques come in a variety of natural stone finishes. Products are available in a range of different sizes and are supplied complete with screw fixings and domed caps. The Corian® collection joins Brunel’s existing range of brass, stainless steel, aluminium and acrylic plaques, labels, nameplates, signs and fascias.
“Corian® is a fabulous seamless, non-porous and stain resistant stone type of material which retains its finish and doesn’t dull with age,” said Martyn Wright, managing director and founder of Brunel Engraving. “It’s fade proof, hard wearing and virtually maintenance free.
“It’s also a great material for engraving with a consistent quality and high density which allows us to reproduce a high level of detail. And we are able to fill engraved areas with inks to achieve a variety of colour combinations. Corian® is acrylic based which means it doesn’t fade or discolour. This makes it ideal for use as commemorative and memorial plaques and house signs which need to wear well over a period of time and are often exposed to the elements. Rain is said to clean Corian® rather than weather it!
“We are delighted with the response we have had to the launch. There is no doubt that Corian® is going to be a very popular product and an important addition to our product range.”
