New product range available from Amari Plastics

Amari Plastics, a UK's leading distributor of plastics to the UK sign, print and industrial markets is delighted to announce that it has secured the distribution of Staufen PVC from Bilcare Research. Staufen PVC has long been a product of choice for the UK market due to its consistency and high quality finish enabling screen and digital printers to always achieve a high quality print. Available in gloss clear and white, matt white opaque and mark resist grades in sheets, it is also in stock in matt white opaque reels at 1370mm wide for the solvent on roll digital print market. The full range is available from stock and is supported by Amari's own in house conversion equipment. Also new for Amari is the Madreperla range of cast acrylic sheets in the Satinglas, Metallic IRO and LED grades. Satinglas is the range of single sided and double sided sheets with a frosted /matt effect on them. They are available from stock in a huge range of colours and in a variety of thicknesses and if Amari do not have it, Madreperla can manufacture relatively small quantities of sheets with a quick lead time to meet the customers' needs. Used in signage, POS/POP and shop fitting applications this range supports the Acrycast brand of cast acrylic sheets that Amari launched in 2010.

The Metallic IRO range is an extended range of metallic colours that are suitable for exterior use. Traditionally this product is used for internal applications as it has had limited UV resistance, however IRO is the new improved exterior grade and is highly recommended for applications such as built up or moulded letters for pubs, restaurants and shop fascias.

The new SETA-LED range is a range of cast acrylic sheets designed to offer greatly improved and even illumination of signs that utilise LEDs. Seta-Led allows the sign to be illuminated without shadows or dark patches and it also allows the acrylic panel to be positioned close to the LED lights without any spotting or pin points of light showing through.

Finally Amari Plastics is pleased to announce that in conjunction with Madreperla, Amari will offer the first 100% recycled cast acrylic sheet. Available in clear, opals, white and colours the new product will be officially launched in May 2011 but can be ordered now for special production. This exciting innovation follows months of extensive testing and trial production at the Madreperla plant in Milan, Italy. All the acrylic is recycled in house by Madreperla and is then returned to a raw MMA format where it can once again be turned in to PMMA (acrylic sheets). The launch of the product will be accompanied by all the necessary certifications which will be required in terms of life span, UV resistance and the legitimacy of the products recycled content.
