EFKA is the specialist in textile frames, making bespoke textile frames for customers in single pieces or mass production

EFKA was originally founded in 1888 as a wholesaler in wooden frames and has been operating very successfully with the production of aluminium textile frames since 2009. Both illuminated and non-illuminated, and in any shape and size. EFKA is a supplier for the sign, exhibition and (retail) interior market and supplies exclusively to partners within this industry, such as large format printers, interior designers for retail and offices, sign makers, and stand builders. The company distributes to 27 different countries.

Ids Boersma, CEO of EFKA: "We are delighted to welcome the team from DPI into our organisation. This acquisition marks an important chapter in our strategy to further strengthen EFKA's position as the European market leader."

EFKA expects this acquisition to greatly enhance its value proposition in the UK. Differentiating factors are an extensive product range, local production, large stock quantities and subsequently shorter delivery times. This all enhanced by high service levels.

Paul Tomlinson and Sandra Wiggins, the former owners of DPI, comment: "This is a great opportunity for DPI and EFKA to further develop the UK market. We are confident that our customers will benefit from the combined expertise and increased capacity that this acquisition will provide."

Service and supply to DPI's current customer base will remain unchanged. During the course of 2024, the integration of the two organisations will take place, and the EFKA brand name will become gradually more visible across the UK market.
