DCP on the move

It's not quite time yet for the next DCP Go Wide! Tour but wide format print specialist DCP Systems have announced their move to new premises at Sir Wilfrid Newton House, Chapeltown.

It's been just over a year since managing director, Darren Walker, successfully took over the reins at DCP Systems and what a year Despite the climate, DCP has managed to not only keep its head above water, but has positively driven the business forward and helped launch two new products from Epson and Mutoh and the brand new Seiko Colourpainter II.

Walker comments, "With a successful year one under our belt, DCP Systems is as strong as ever. When I took over as managing director, we inherited the building, which was to be honest, far too big for our needs. So in order to protect our strong position in the market, we are moving to premises that better suit our needs."

This includes a state of the art warehouse facility and a brand new Centre of Excellence to house the full range of Epson imaging products for professional photographers. In addition, DCP will have a purpose built demonstration room for digital textile printing with the Mutoh Extreme range and a host of finishing products from manufacturers such as GBC, Drytac, Fletcher Terry, Seal and the recently launched new range of laminators by Kala.

DCP will shortly be announcing the dates of this years' Go Wide! Tour, to be held in three venues across the country - England, Wales and Scotland. This follows the successful annual series of Go Wide! Tours where DCP Systems take their full range of wide format scanners, printers, RIPS, professional photographic and finishing equipment to a central venue so visitors can view the equipment in a relaxed environment without the hustle and bustle of visiting a national trade exhibition.

It is also a chance to meet representatives of some of the major equipment manufacturers and put your questions directly to them on subjects such as dye-sublimation printing, hot and cold laminating, cutting accessories, thermal transfer and much more. DCP will also have a professional photographer in residence who use these products in their own studio and will be demonstrating hands-on how to get the most from your equipment.
