Avery Dennison expand film range

three cars wrapped in new Avery Dennison filmThe number of colours and finishes in the Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film portfolio in Europe has just increased to 82.

Design options are further enhanced with the addition of four 'Conform Chrome' materials (Chrome Silver, Chrome Black, Chrome Gold and Chrome Blue). Six satin films are included in the portfolio– black, white, khaki green, awesome orchid, carmine red and bubblegum pink. These satin films give unique medium-lustre finishes, with both matte and gloss characteristics and the appearance of real satin paint. "We have had excellent feedback on the colours and film performance from car wrap installers," said Anne Konigs, product manager Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions Europe. "These new satin finishes are highly appealing to car enthusiasts who want to customise their vehicles."

Also included in the Supreme Wrapping Film portfolio are seven new colours: Matte Khaki Green, Bahama Blue Pearl, Black Pearl, Quick Silver Gloss Metallic, Blaze Orange Matte Metallic, Midnight Sand Matte Metallic and Lagoon Blue Matte Metallic.

The unique 'paint-like finish' vinyl now offers 'more choices than ever'. This film uses a clear protective layer to ensure a durable vehicle wrap that lasts up to 12 years, and the material easily accommodates difficult curves and recesses.
Konigs adds that the expansion of the range reflects its rapid growth in popularity: "This material is the product of choice for premium vehicle wraps. With superb conformability and durability, and the substantial time savings made possible by Easy Apply™ RS technology, it gives applicators a sure-fire way to deliver optimum impact and quality, and to reassure customers that removal can be fast and damage-free."

Supreme Wrapping Film can also be colour-matched to virtually any custom colour within two weeks. Konigs said: "The colours, textures and chromes available for this material mean that a showroom quality paint-like finish can be achieved quickly on private and commercial vehicles alike, with the finished 'look' limited by almost nothing except the designer's imagination."
