DEP add Indigo and Eco-solvent coatings for polypropylene printing

Selection of plastic folders and papersDEP Ltd, the specialist print coatings company, is increasing the selection of polypropylene print media in their range of Synplas synthetic paper. By adding thicker grades of sheeted material in the most popular formats, they will offer a wider choice of this durable and versatile printing material to customers producing Point-of-Sale and signage.

Synplas Ultra: Three new products available
For banners, pop-ups and signage the zero light transmission, Super Opaque White is available in 300 and 440 micron thickness.
For the stationery, folder, packaging, tag, and label markets, classic White Matt/Matt and Natural Frosty Clear are available in 500, 800, and 1200 micron thickness.
These three products give excellent ink adhesion as well as high impact resistance and are 100 per cent recyclable.

All Synplas products are suitable for printing with Offset Litho, UV Litho, UV Digital, and Screen Printing. The Synplas range includes products ranging in thickness from 80 microns to 1200 microns.

Coated versions for Eco-Solvent and Indigo printing
As an added benefit for their customers DEP offers special versions of Synplas suitable for Eco-Solvent and Indigo printing.

With over half a century’s experience in the field of printable surfaces, DEP are able to 'draw on their unique knowledge and ability' in the application of specialist print coatings for polypropylene and polyester substrates. Inkjet, Eco-Solvent, and Indigo printable surfaces can be applied to the Synplas range including to the thicker Synplas Ultra products.
