New JETRIX LXi7 fills a space at Parking Control Management
Parking Management Solutions – PCM – has taken ownership of a JETRIX LXi7 LED UV flatbed printer. In fact, the printer has proved so proficient that through the pandemic they have identified several additional signage opportunities and set up a new business called UK Signs.
PCM is known for providing full-service solutions for all types and sizes of parking areas, from enforcement, Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems, pay by phone through to permit management. They operate across residential, commercial, retail and leisure locations through-out the UK. The level of printing and signage requirements involved in this significant operation initially led to the company seeking a large format printer that could easily meet the variety of their demands and achieve their exacting needs. However, while this was the paramount reason for purchasing the printer, they have since found that it could easily manage this work and more. So, the senior team took the decision to invest and set up a sister business called UK Signs dedicated to producing indoor and outdoor signage using the JETRIX printer.
As the LXi7 is a direct to substrates flatbed printer, it easily stands up to their heavy production requirements. The size of the 2.5m x 3.0m flatbed also means that significant pieces of print and signage can be produced. When researching the options, specific areas of interest were exploring the ease of its use, particularly elements like the powerful zonal vacuum system on the flatbed which enables quick and accurate media placement. Manufactured using celebrated South Korean technology, the JETRIX has been developed to deliver rapid production of speeds of up to 78sqm/hr alongside a host of other premium abilities such as automated functions and safety systems - all designed to increase productivity.
