i-Sub adds two new fabric printers to its soft signage range

i-Sub, specialist distributor and reseller to the textile printing market, has added the "powerful and cost-effective" EFI VUTEk FabriVU 180 and 340 high resolution fabric printers to its portfolio.

Graphics providers who want to drive their businesses into the soft signage market will be equipped to print dazzling displays, high-density backlit signs and more with high resolutions and speeds. The EFI VUTEk FabriVU 180 and 340 printers produce robust soft signs and fabric displays that retain the drape and soft hand customers prefer; while still creating spectacular graphics that can be washed and dried without wrinkling, folded without leaving marks, and reused time and time again.

“The machines can print direct to textile or onto transfer paper, and changeover from one to the other is fast and simple. This means users can offer customers more choice in textiles, while also saving money by using lower cost substrate materials. These 180-centimetre and 340-centimetre wide printers use genuine EFI water-based CMYK disperse dye inks to print on fabrics weighing from 40 to 300 gsm; and paper weighing from 40 to 160gsm."

The printers provide high resolution of up to 2,400 dpi and four-level greyscale printing with 4pL to 18pL drop sizes. They are designed for the production of flags, banners, wall coverings, backlit displays and other high-end display graphics.
