Datateam acquires Sign Update & Image Reports Magazines

The acquisition allows Datateam to provide complete market access for manufacturers and suppliers.

Datateam Business Media Limited, owner of Sign & Digital UK, is delighted to announce the acquisition of both Sign Update Limited and Image Reports Magazine, the acquisitions include all related digital products and websites.

The existing teams on Image Reports & Sign Update will transfer to Datateam enabling business to continue unaffected.

Martin Hinchliffe of Sign Update Limited commented: “Sign Update was established in 1990 by my father Roger and I took over in 2008. Over that time I’ve seen big changes in the technology involved in putting the magazine together, the website and social media. I really liked the idea of running Sign & Digital UK and Printware & Promotion exhibitions alongside each other as there is such an overlap between the markets. I was really looking forward to attending the exhibition as an exhibitor with the increased visitors that are likely. When Datateam approached me regarding me selling the magazine, I thought that Sign Update would be a really good fit for Datateam. I know they have many publications and exhibitions to their name, so I believe they are more than capable of taking Sign Update to the next level.”
