The webinar session on 22 February will introduce the scheme and discuss the benefits it offers to companies that are looking to become more sustainable.
ArtSystems, the Nottingham-based specialist systems distributor and service provider, has announced that it will host a dedicated webinar session on 22nd February 2022 to discuss the benefits of the new BPIF Display and POS 2 Recycling Scheme.
Introduced in July 2021, the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) Display and POS 2 Recycling Scheme was rolled out in partnership with recycling specialist Prismm Environmental, with the aim of helping companies in the print sector improve and maintain their waste management and recycling.
The scheme has proved incredibly popular since its launch six months ago and this new ArtSystems webinar will allow attendees to gain further insight into the many benefits it offers.
The one-hour session will run from 10:30am until 11:30am on 22nd February and cover a number of key areas, including how to become a sustainable print business and how the BPIF Display and POS 2 Recycling Scheme can help companies achieve this goal.
Speakers will include Steve Lister, Head of Sustainability UK & Ireland at POPAI; John Hutton, Director at Prismm Environmental; and representatives from the BPIF and ArtSystems.
The webinar will also look at how investment in specialist technology from HP can help businesses to achieve core sustainability goals in the wide-format print sector, while attendees will also have the chance to quiz experts in an open Q&A session.
“Businesses across all print sectors know that they have to operate more sustainably, from supply chain through to waste management at the end of life, but the key question is: how can this be achieved?” says John Draycott, Marketing Manager at ArtSystems.
“The webinar we’re hosting seeks to answer this question and explain how the new BPIF Display and POS 2 Recycling Scheme can help print providers reduce their waste and move towards a more sustainable future.”
