A 'one-stop, green' solution for sign graphics

Advert on a bus stop3M’s new Envision Print Film 48 is set to become a ‘one-stop’ choice for sign-makers who are looking to meet increasing customer demand for ‘greener’ options.

Available from William Smith, Envision Print Film 48 is a highly versatile, non-PVC intermediate film that is suitable for many applications, such as indoor and outdoor signage; wall, glass, door and floor graphics; windows and internal dividers; partial vehicle graphics on flat or simple curved areas; and POP displays, says the company.

The film offers 'high performance print quality, ease of use and consistency' across the range of applications. It is 100 per cent printer compatible and can be used on solvent, UV and latex digital printers. It conforms well and is more tolerant than vinyl to higher temperatures for installation and removal. It is also tear resistant, enabling faster, cleaner removal. Envision Print Film 48 is a highly durable film and its accompanying Gloss Overlaminate 8048G provides 'enhanced' scratch resistance and UV protection.

The film comes in a choice of options, including permanent or removable adhesive, with or without Comply and Controltac features.

3M Envision Print Film 48C incorporates Comply adhesive with air release channels, together with Controltac technology, which make it easily repositionable for 'quick, easy and time-saving' application.

With up to five years durability, the film can be used for all but the most challenging applications, which enables sign-makers to reduce stock-holding of multiple films by choosing a single economical product.

3M Envision Print Film 48 and Overlaminate are available from William Smith ex-stock, as full, part or custom slit rolls and same day despatch is provided on full or part roll orders received up to 6.00pm.
