Production Operative - Yorkshire

As a production operative at VLS you are responsible for producing, assembling and packing of all vehicle livery kits and other signage. This can be anything from a digital print for a vehicle wrap, an emergency service livery kit, and vehicle chevrons to small cut vinyl decals. The production line is a concise, fast paced but enjoyable team working environment. Part of your role is to manage the work flow going through each stage of production and to communicate with the rest of the team to ensure a smooth operation from start to finish.

Other duties include but not limited to;
• Creating delivery notes and shipping notes.
• Stock control/Management
• Quality control
• Housekeeping of Workspace
• Lamination of prints
• Use Sign writing software and Plotters
• Weeding Cut Vinyl

Rate - Dependent on experience.
Hours 40hrs pw (O/T paid at 1.5)
Mon-Thurs 0800 -1700
Friday 0800 - 1400

• NVQ Level 2 in Sign making
• Substrate Media Knowledge
• Full UK Driving licence

Beneficial but not essential. Previous industry experience in vehicle livery. Experience in operating wide format inkjet printers. Experienced with Flexisign, Adobe Illustrator.
