Business Development Manager
Sign Systems is a well-established sign manufacturing business situated in the East Midlands. Due to organisational changes, we currently have the opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work within a busy and friendly environment at our Derbyshire office.
The successful applicant would be confident, ambitious, motivated and sales driven with good people skills. You must also have the ability to a build good rapport with our clients face to face and over the telephone.
For this position you must possess basic IT knowledge and have good written/grammar skills.
Initially you will be required to bring in new customers to the business and this will include visiting clients, dealing with ad-hock sales and site surveys. You will also prepare costs and quotations, follow up outstanding quotations and be present in a fortnightly sales target meeting. You will also be expected to convert orders and raise job sheets on our computer system.
An established signage and sales background are essential.
The working hours for this role would be Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm.
Holiday entitlement is 21 days plus bank holidays, however we operate a Christmas shutdown and therefore the non-bank holiday days will be deducted from your flexible days.
