Cutting Matters weekly podcast is available on YouTube, social media and all major podcast providers

Graphtec GB has introduced Cutting Matters, a weekly podcast available on YouTube, social media and all major podcast providers. The project has been 8 months in production and is the only one of its kind in the industry.

The podcasts are presented by Ellen Wain (Business Development Executive) and Alastair Evans (Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Executive) from Graphtec GB’s HQ in Wrexham. Each week they will be focusing on different products and aspects of the industry. In conjunction with the podcast Alastair has created dedicated Facebook and Instagram accounts called The Cutting Matters.

The first podcast in the series was an introduction to Graphtec GB and the range of brands, products and services that they offer. Graphtec GB are the main distributor for Graphtec, Silhouette, NBS Technologies, Sai, WidInovations, Brother and Colour & Shape. Also covered is the new innovation hash tag “Test before you invest” that Alastair created. You can try out any of the machines in the range either at Graphtec resellers or at Graphtec themselves before you buy. This gives the customer the perfect opportunity to use their own cutting files and samples of media to fully assimilate themselves with the machines.

Graphtec GB want to make it as interactive as possible, so Alastair and Ellen are encouraging their viewers and listeners to contact them at marketing@graphtecgb.co.uk with any questions or subjects that they would like to see covered.  Each week there will be an “Ask Ellen” section where Ellen will answer queries that end users send in.

Alastair and Ellen explore how the products are helping businesses develop by interviewing both resellers and end users. Their aim is to inform the market of the opportunities that the Graphtec GB portfolio of products can offer.

In interviews with resellers, they discuss key topics within the industry, from how it is evolving to the latest technology and media. They also talk to end users who share their experiences with machines products and customers.

The presenters also cover new product news, such as the latest release of their WidInovations range. Graphtec GB want to encourage subscribers to rate and comment on the podcasts and to have as much participation as possible. Their wish is to make this a valuable educational tool for the cutting and printing industry.
