Signpost Solutions introduce Optimast

Optimast is a new range of passively safe sign masts from the team at SignPost Solutions. Developed by one of Europe’s leading passive engineers, the new circular extruded aluminium range will complement Signpost’s comprehensive passive portfolio, which already boasts the market leading ‘Lattix’ and ‘KAPU’ range of masts and columns.

Optimast will be available in 102mm, 127mm, 168mm, 219mm and 244mm diameters and because the mast is circular in design, standard fixing clips can be used to attach the signs. The design also includes ridges on the post to assist in making the clips more anti - rotational.

As with Lattix, Optimast is designed to be used with anchor cradles with the mast fitted with special break-away bolts attached to base plates; a tried and tested method that ensures simple and speedy replacement following a knock down. Optimast has been crash tested at MIRA receiving a fantastic 100 NE3 rating, the safest that can be achieved.
