Advanced software solution by Graphtec GB
Graphtec GB, who supply cutting plotters and complementary software, have introduced their Graphtec Pro Studio sign making software programme. Based on the FlexiSIGN family of software from SAi, for which Graphtec GB is a preferred partner and distributor in the UK and Ireland, the program has been designed for compatibility with the new FCX2000 series of flatbed cutting plotters, and the FC8600 roll-fed machines. Later in the year, it will also be available for the CE6000 cutting plotter series.
This all-in-one CAD/CAM software programme provides all of the design and production tools necessary for the creation of professional designs. It also offers compatibility with over 30 different popular file formats, such as AI, CMX, EPS and DXF files, which can be imported, modified and cut.
Along with basic tool functions, Graphtec Pro Studio also provides more advanced functions such as shape editing, auto trace and weld and combine. Key features of the software include automatic registration mark creation, tiling, an ability to create multiple copies of the same object for cutting, the addition of weed and border cut lines and tool assignment and condition settings. Graphtec Pro Studio also supports the latest Version 6 of the Graphtec ARMS (Automatic Registration Mark Sensing) system that is available only on the new FCX2000 flatbed cutting plotter.
Complementing the software is the upgraded edition of Graphtec Pro Studio PLUS. This provides even more advanced functions to further increase productivity. For example, the software now provides the ability transform graphics and characters, enable automatic sequence number, bar code, QR and serialised number creation, power nesting and template creation for rhinestone production.
