New 3M wrap films

close up of a wrapped car part3M’s new Wrap Film Series 1380 is set to 'save time and increase productivity' by making wrapping easier and faster than before; and without any compromise on quality, says the company.

Available from William Smith, 3M Wrap Film Series 1380 has 50 per cent stretch properties. With the application of heat, it will conform 'easily' into more challenging areas, such as deep recesses. The low relaxation property of the film means that it will not lift out of recesses once applied. Series 1380 also features a low tack dry adhesive, which gives a low initial grab. This is 'great for repositioning, making application easier even when an installer is working alone'.

3M’s Comply adhesive with air release channels, together with Controltac technology, makes Series 1380 easily repositionable for 'quick, easy and time-saving application, and ensures an even and smooth surface after installation'.

This combination of features means that significant increases in productivity can be achieved on vehicle wrapping as the time savings gained will enable more vehicles to be fitted each week, says 3M.

3M Wrap Film Series 1380 comes in eight colours: Gloss Royal Yellow, Satin Autumn Orange Metallic, Gloss Hotrod Red, Matte Slate Blue Metallic, Matte Army Green, Matte Grey Aluminium, Gloss Mineral Grey Metallic, and Matte Granite Metallic. As well as Matte White, Gloss White, Matt Black, Satin Black, Gloss Black and Gloss Black Metallic.

3M Wrap Film Series 1380 is available from William Smith ex-stock, as full, part or custom slit rolls and same day despatch is provided on full or part roll orders received up to 6.00pm.
