National Signs, Chesterfield, report successful year of trading

Chesterfield based retail and commercial signage company National Signs has achieved massive increases in its year on year sales and recently announced the acquisition of a further two companies in Commercial Festive displays contractor Eldon Displays and Cannock based signs company Malin Signs.

Group MD, Tony Lucas, said the large increase is mainly down to the ability to offer clients the services they really need during the down turn even if it maybe outside the stable of standard services.

"By doing this we have firstly, continued to grow, but also reinforced our relationship with our clients as they see us more as a full service provider committed to helping them out, rather than just pushing for more sales," he says.

National is widely expected to post further gains in the Spring as it realises investments in new plant and also a new branch opening in Cannock in the West Midlands.

National Signs now operating from depots in Romford, Sheffield, Cannock and its new purpose built Head Office facility in Chesterfield, is set to open a number of new sites in the next five years, two of which will be company owned and a further 40 of its mobile sign unit franchises.
