DYSS/Planet Digital strengthens its support team

To further strengthen its UK-based central support team, DYSS/Planet digital has made two significant new appointments. They follow the earlier appointment of Gary Dare and will provide increased back up for the DYSS range of products now being marketed in the UK and throughout the EMEA region. All three bring a wealth of knowledge and market experience to Planet Digital in its developing partnership with Koreabased DYSS, a specialist manufacturer of screen-printing, direct-to-media UV digital printing and cutting/routing solutions.

Formerly service manager at AIT and technical director of the UK agent for ARISTO cutters, Julian Mildner will lend considerable new support in particular to the DYSS X7 range of digital die-cutting systems that are now arriving in the UK.

Formerly business manager for Océ UK, Peter Barton has been appointed international channel manager with a special responsibility for increasing the DYSS/Planet Digital network of distributors and business partners.

A joint venture company offering truly affordable but high-end print-and-cut solutions, DYSS/Planet Digital is now set to take a healthy share of what the industry experts predict will be a 22 per cent growth in this sector of the digital graphics market.
