3M Controltac Non-PVC Graphic Film with Comply Adhesive 3545C

3M 3545CA new non-PVC film from 3M, the diversified technology company, will offer a raft of benefits to sign and graphics producers who have a stated commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the materials and manufacturing processes they use. Controltac Non-PVC Graphic Film with Comply Adhesive 3545C from 3M is a further example of the company's ability to offer alternative solutions to traditional solvent-based materials with no compromise on quality and performance standards.

The 100-micron film is ideal for medium-term indoor and outdoor graphic applications, including fleet applications contingent upon the graphic protection employed. 3M 3545C Film is designed for piezo inkjet, screen and electrostatic printing processes. When these involve UV or the latest Latex inks as opposed to solvent-based ink formulations, VOC emissions are greatly reduced to result in a graphic construction that has far less impact on the environment. Significantly, this new film incorporates Comply Adhesive technology from 3M that greatly enhances the speed at which graphics can be applied and purposely removed without any residual adhesive to accommodate tactical marketing promotions. With Comply Adhesive, special channels in the pressure-activated adhesive allow trapped air to escape to ensure a smooth, bubble-free and firmly bonded face film.

When used in accordance with 3M's stated recommendations, 3M 3545C Film can also be covered by 3M's MCS (Matched Component System) Warranty and/or the 3M Performance Guarantee. These are considered to be the most powerful and comprehensive product performance warranties currently available. The performance of the 3M 3545C Film is further enhanced when it is applied in conjunction with the compatible 3M Scotchcal Luster Overlaminate 8908 Film over laminate film.

The white opaque polyolefin film incorporating a grey pressure-activated adhesive is particularly suited to applications involving flat or slightly curved surfaces. Typically, these would include regular box-shaped or gently curved vehicle profiles, general indoor and outdoor signs and graphics and vending or dispensing machine and cooler graphics. Capable of fast and easy removal by the application of heat, the film will resist the effects of mild alkalis and acids, salt and the ingress of water. Contingent upon the application, 3M 3545C Film has a durability of up to five years.

3M 3545C Film is available from primary distributors William Smith and Spandex.
