What is standard for exporting files for printing?

I have had a few problems ripping EPS recently (using old software) and reverted back to jpg's and tiff, which seems ok as long as high enough resolution. I don't do too many large prints.

I don't think it matters too much, but using EPS and PDF's for vector graphics will preserve the quality nicely, so I agree last post.

I used to use EPS for vector images and jpg files for photos.

PDF's I think are probably easiest as they can be a combination of vector and raster, so you don't need to thing about it as much.

I tend to export as an EPS file (CMYK).

I don't know if other people use svg (for vector images) or jpg (for photos) etc.

I am not sure if EPS is the best way?
