Structure-flex launch new wall and floor products

office wall coverered in printStructure-flex, who supply flexible fabric products, has expanded its digital printing capability to include a wide variety of vinyl flooring surfaces and wall coverings.

The move is the latest development for the company, which already supplies a broad range of high quality vinyl products to the logistics, construction, oil, and advertising industries.

With the increasing demand for innovative ways for companies to promote their products and services, graphic displays on the ground or walls offer options for brands looking for alternative promotional opportunities.

Managing Director of Structure-flex, Paul Reeve, said: “Structure-flex has manufactured and supplied a portfolio of added value products made from heavy-duty flexible fabrics for 45 years, and has a history of constant progression with innovative technology.

“Printed floor and wall coverings are rapidly increasing in popularity, boosted by the ability for today’s ink-jet technologies and media that can handle UV-curable, solvent-based, and latex ink formulations, for true colour reproduction.

“Our graphics division recently invested another £450,000 in the latest large format printing equipment to further enhance our capabilities. This perfectly positions us for the production of stunning graphics on this new range of vinyl flooring and wall coverings.”

Structure-flex’s new range includes two options of treated PVC graphic materials in a variety of widths for use as tough and durable floor coverings. And also a self-adhesive removable and positional textile that is perfect for wall graphics.

The Udeco digital floor lino is available in 2mm thickness and is designed for short to mid-term indoor applications for non-adhesive floor graphics; and its PU coated top surface is excellent for ink reception. It can be applied on most indoor floor surfaces. It is anti-slip, fire rated, and has an anti-scratch surface, making it is a great, and cost effective way to rebrand a visual floor space, says the company.

Crystal Floor is a durable soft PVC floor graphic material suitable for a wide range of applications within retail, expo and architectural environments. It is best suited for reverse printing, offering the most durable top material layer in the industry, says Structure-flex.

Utack self-adhesive textile is a versatile, removable and repositionable material for wall coverings and designed for smooth, flat surfaces. It is a thin, woven, self-adhesive polyester fabric, and has a water resistant matte surface to produce "exceptional" printed resolution and high definition.

“We are very excited about this range of new products,” says Paul. “Our increasing customer base has been asking for alternative promotional coverings and these new vinyls are so versatile that they are perfect for a wide range of uses and designs.”

Structure-flex won a Queen’s Award for International Enterprise in 2014 for increasing its export sales by more than 250pc over the previous three years.

The company provides a complete consultation and manufacturing service and includes Greene King, Irn-Bru, Wilkinger Hot Dogs and Skinner’s Pet Foods amongst the brands it has produced.
