University of Sheffield purchases GBC laminator at DCP Go-Wide tour

The deal was done at the recent DCP Go-Wide tour with Jonathan Collett of GBC and Darren Walker, MD of DCP Systems Ltd. The GBC 3064 will be in good company, joining their already incumbent fleet of HP Designjets, Onyx RIP and a GBC Falcon F60 laminator.

Sheryl Mather who runs the Graphic Design Section within the University Print Service at the University of Sheffield explains the reason for the new addition. "We offer a complete print service for University staff and students but also for personal and corporate clients. Over the past 12 months the demand for different kinds of laminated products has increased and the second machine will give us more versatility. The new acquisition of the GBC 3064 will predominantly produce pop-ups and roll-up exhibition stands using Opal Jet media. The other laminator will be used for encapsulating indoor and outdoor posters and banners. DCP Systems have supplied most of our large format equipment to date, giving us great advice and an excellent after sales support service."

The University Print Service offers a range of services from the creation of artwork through to the production of books, leaflets, reports, stationery, posters and exhibitions stands.
