Glyphics are an established Central London Sign Maker with over 20 years experience. With a prestigious client list and a busy Shoreditch-based studio, we are now recruiting a Production Manager who will support the current management team in taking the company to the next level, focusing on customer service, quality control and profitability.

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a solid background in team building and leadership, commercially minded and with excellent communication skills.

Beside the day to day responsibilities of managing the existing team to deliver all jobs on time, to specifications and on budget, the Production Manager will be tasked with reviewing the current production and installation team, organisational structure and processes in order to optimise efficiency, quality and profitability.

  • Managing contractors and suppliers
  • Managing studio equipment and materials
  • Ensuring the compliance with current standards of Health and Safety
  • Working closely with the Estimating and Design Managers to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the life cycle of every project
  • Providing a clear and concise overview of current projects in production, at all times: using weekly production meetings, internal job boards and workflow software
  • Pro-actively reviewing processes to enhance team performances and optimise studio equipment use
  • Setting up new processes to ensure each project’s profitability is assessed individually
Skills for work:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of sign production and installation processes, methods and timing
  • At least 5 years experience in managing a production/installation team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Illustrator
  • Experienced in working with CRM software
  • Excellent customer care
  • Skilled communicator
  • Team player
  • Highly organised
  • A hands on approach to problem solving
  • Process driven
  • Quality focused
  • A sense of humour
