About the Company: RGVA is a Maidstone based vehicle graphics company with 3M MCS and AVW Accreditations, supplying services to fleets operated by national high street shop chains, national supermarkets, local councils and local-to-London businesses. The company has a manufacturing premises at Crismill, ME14 4NT and sales offices in Market Weighton, Yorkshire and Paisley, Scotland.

Important Considerations: The position will involve lifting/handling of products that weighs 19 kilos. RGVA’s premises are not on a main bus route so it will be necessary for you to get yourself independently to and from work at ME14 4NT. Your transport could be bicycle, motorbike or car, but whatever method you use, it must be reliable.

Hours: 40 working hours per week. RGVA operate a 5-in-7 day employment contract meaning that you will usually be required to work Monday-Friday, but occasionally this could also be Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday. Night time and unsocial time working is an infrequent request. Overtime is frequently offered.

Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years experience using and understanding the process of printing using HP Latex ink technology (RGVA currently has 4x HP 260 Latex machines with an 850 arriving soon), so naturally, you will need to be competent with calibration of printers to ensure consistency of colour between devices, a very good knowledge of Onyx RIP and Illustrator, be quickset aware for improved automation and workload balancing between printers, be confident with dynamic work scheduling under pressure, be savvy with job batching media types to ensure optimal usage and good at resolving technical issues both alone in a studio environment and with our supply chain technicians. Finally, you will need to be a highly organised individual with excellent reporting and monitoring skills.

Basic Pay: £24,000 - £30,000 p/a with annual reviews.

Company Bonus: There are 2 bonuses that relate to this job. 1, a company bonus based on profit share, and 2, an individual bonus based on personal performance. If company and personal targets are met, the bonus structure will add in the region of £4,500 p/a to the basic pay.
