HEAD SIGN TECHNICIAN.

£23-30k (Depending on Experience) + Overtime, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.

We are currently looking to recruit a Head Sign Technician with a can do attitude. Reporting directly to the Department Manager, the successful candidates duties will include:

  • The running of digital print / edge, laminating and CAD cutting machines.
  • Have a possible knowledge of CNC routing.
  • Using Omega and adobe packages such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • You must also be capable of using these packages to create visuals for client approval and be able to communicate with the client.
  • A good knowledge of vinyl application including vehicle wraps would be beneficial.
  • Have a good working knowledge of sign materials.
  • The planning and ordering of materials for the work in hand.
  • The applicant must be able to communicate at all levels, work within a highly motivated team and be willing to grow with the company.
  • Overtime and weekend work will be required occasionally.
Company Details:

First Signs is a long established business having been in existence for over 30 years. Ideally located at Bishops Stortford in Hertfordshire, just off Junction 8 of the M11 & close to Stansted Airport. We are an expanding business with current annual turnover of £1.4M.

In addition to the sign department, the company has a large screen print department, and an engraving department which includes CNC routing. The business undertakes digital printing, both flat bed and roll to roll, plus we print and supply estate agents boards.

On the other side of our business we refurbish and maintain estate agents offices, and we also have our own fitting team.
