Sign Update

Got a job where I am going to put up some signs made with dibond. I want to protect the signs, because the site is in the final stages of construction and could be scratched and get covered in dust.

What is the stuff called?
Is it a tape? A heat shrinkable adhesive film?
You know when you buy a computer monitor, they often have a thin film of plastic that you peel off the screen.

Can't find it in Google, as don't know what it is called.

Not sure if this is what you are after. Sounds like your customer wants it up unnecessarily early.

You could try some of Doro Tape's Static Cling vinyl. Its intended use is for things like those removable prices seen on the inside of car windscreens in showrooms, for example, but it would cling to dibond and provide a protective film against dirt/dust etc. (Obviously more suitable for indoors rather than outdoors.)
