FujiFilm Sericol launches the new Acuity Advance

Designed to satisfy those print applications that require high resolution imaging, the Acuity Advance now features an opaque white ink option, to complement the standard four colour CMYK offering. The Acuity Advance incorporates a newly developed print-head array, increasing the productivity above that of the HD2504 whilst still maintaining a near photographic image quality thanks to its unique variable drop technology.

Typical throughput in production mode is up to 22sq.m./hr, in high quality mode the speed is 15sq.m./hr.

Utilising FUJIFILM Sericol's latest Uvijet UV white ink, the Acuity Advance delivers unmatched flexibility, allowing users to print a very opaque white under, over or between print layers.

The FUJIFILM Acuity Advance UV inkjet printer retains the same dimensions and print area as the Acuity HD2504 of 1.25m x 2.5m, and prints onto substrates as thick as 48mm.

Additionally, an optional roll-to-roll module is ideal for printing onto all types of flexible media. The Acuity Advance was unveiled at the SGIA tradeshow and commercial shipments began commence in November.
