In 2008, worldwide sales of Roland DG’s print and cut devices passed 70,000 since the launch of the first such machine in 1995, with 5,000 units sold in the UK alone. This has cemented the company’s place as a world leading supplier of print and cut equipment. Indeed, the Roland DG VersaCAMM series is the best selling printer cutter in the world, says Roland.
Since its introduction, the VersaCAMM has provided signmakers with an unmatched entry-level price point as well as versatility, reliability and ease of use. The latest model, the VP series, is available in 30" VP-300 and 54" VP-540 versions and is Roland’s - and the market’s - fastest entry-level printer cutter to date. The VersaCAMM VP is a four-colour CMYK machine that will perform as a stand alone cutter or print only device as well as a printer/cutter. It has an automated maintenance system for hassle-free operation and immediate printing on a range of substrates as diverse as self adhesive vinyl, banner, paper, film and heat transfer paper. Like all Roland machines, the VersaCAMM VP series includes the latest version of Roland DG’s powerful, user friendly RIP software, VersaWorks 3.0, which features the Roland Color spot colour fidelity system, Variable Data Printing and the option to run up to four machines from a single workstation.
