Hi

I am looking for a vinyl which i can cut using a plotter to make a stencil to stick onto glass.
I have standard self adhesive vinyl but some letters like P,R,O etc need the middle peeled off and stuck on by hand which takes time so i am trying to find a vinyl which i can transfer straight onto the glass without the hassle of cutting all the in-between bits out.
I hope i this makes sense, i know what i want but can't seem to find anything.

Thanks

The inbetween bits need to be weeded out one way or another. If they found a machine that could do the weeding properly they would have no problem selling it.

There is no vinyl that could possibly help in this. If you think about it how could it?

The middle has to come out, the only way of doing this is by hand. A machine would have to be incredibly sophisticated to do this.

The other alternative would be to print onto transparent vinyl, which wouldn't have the same clean edges and vibrant colours.

I thought this might be the case but thought id ask anyway. The only reason i thought this is because i remember years ago our works van got vinyl lettering which the they stuck on, then peeled the outside layer off to leave the lettering with the bits already weeded out. Maybe they weeded the bits quick so i didn't notice.

Thanks Martin

Whenever I go to a client, I would have weeded the vinyl first and then put the application tape over the top.
The client never sees me do any weeding.
